For Fortnite players, there is just no end to excitement and suspense.
Epic games keep the interest alive by teasing new events and introducing many add-ons periodically. For the last few weeks, nearly every player was pretty excited about the Doomsday Event. The Doomsday clock introduced in the game kept the fans guessing for days. While a section dubbed the event somewhat unexciting and straightforward, it is expected that the repercussions will actually be felt in Season 3 of the battle Royale game. The Doomsday Event on Fortnite will bring some new development of 15th June, as per the updates.

The Speculations and Leaks
The live event is still a few days away but that has not deterred the fans from speculating on what is on the cards! A series of leaks on the topic have also appeared online, though their credibility is questionable. Epic is aware of that and so it has started encrypting game files. It has made the leakers on backfoot-at least for some time.
Despite the tightropes deployed, a handful of leakers have found out what is there in season 3. The Doomsday device is not exactly a bomb and it is not likely to explode. Many are saying it was introduced to keep the element of suspense alive in the game, deliberately. However, it may be a controlled device and that will be used to bring in drastic weather changes in the island. A number of Fortnite leaks hint at water being the theme of the next season. So a heavy rainstorm may be on the cards. The island topography is going to be changed in a big way, eventually.
While the leaks may not be precise, the possibility of new locations and changes in the map are strong. It is already known that in the 3rd season of Fortnite, the island will cope with a flood. How intense it will be remains to be seen. A Fortnite leak suggests that the upcoming map will show up once the floodwater starts receding.
It is somewhat credible, say the veteran players. There is no doubt that the underwater POIs are not suited for fighting. The existing map has a few locations like that. The players have said at such places they can’t do anything well. From building a shelter to aiming at the enemies, nothing can be done with ease
